Hub Info Driver " 503 while fetching public IP" warning

Noticed this over the last several weeks but not motivated enough to post.
Anyway in my logs:
503 while fetching public IP
I uninstalled the hub info driver for now.
Anyone else see this? @thebearmay

Why not just turn off the option?

http 503 error service unavailable

My testing indicates it's still working. 503 is created by the cloud site not by the Hub.

Like @csteele said it’s not an issue with the driver, but the cloud site that does the IP response. I just checked and it’s working now, but regardless doesn’t impact the rest of the data returned by the driver as the error response is being trapped and handled.

DUH, I don't recall ever turning it on. In any event I have Fios Gigabit Fiber and the IP is very stable, sometimes lasting 6-8 months and PFSense has no trouble picking it up. Which cloud site are you referring to?
Thanks I'll just turn off the option

It’s using https://ifconfig.co/ 503 says that their server had an internal issue and couldn’t respond correctly.
