I am using Smartthings and hub connect to send alerts from Arlo to to habitat to use for triggering actions. SmartThings changed its integration code to support more devices and fix things in the old integration. Arlo sent out a notice a few days ago and they now are tightly integrated ave with Homekit.
I have Homebridge running on an rpi with node-red for automations.
I am wondering if it might be better to use Arlo to HomeKit to home bridge to node-red instead of Arlo to Smartthings to habitat to node red. is it the same just different platforms?
