Does that mean my cable mess means I am on the light side.... That's my excuse...
They could be clearly hidden behind one of those vertical poles on the back side.
No antennae, but yes an outlet and I ran a cat drop in at the same spot. If sitting on the floor you can see it a little bit.
Perfect. When can you come over - I need three of these in my house, would like them in place by the weekend.
Yeah Iāll get right on that lol.
Really it was pretty simple to make. Did it in a day, and with the tiny surge protector it was like $35 all in. Now if I could find a way to get a battery backup in there that would be something.
You can get small usb one.
Hey thatās an idea, never seen one that small. I question the 20000mah rating, but still. Iāve got enough vertical space to build a small shelf in there so itās doable.
Looks nice! Grab one of these and you can POE the Hubitat.

Then you can have it on a UPS from elsewhere. I can't remember if the flex mini switch does POE passthrough that you have there...
It doesnāt, itās powered by poe but doesnāt pass through. I thought about various poe configurations, but ultimately this was the most streamlined. I couldnāt find a switch both powered by and that also passes through poe (probably not possible). So unless I wanted to run a lan drop for all 3, this was it. I also have an access point connected to the switch, but thatās going in the ceiling eventually so maybe then a second line for just the two hubs then.
Found this with a google search.
