So I decided last night to venture back into HSM to attempt setting up a “home alarm” for intruders. I have the notifications, arming/disarming with switch and delays working. Yeah! Where I am struggling is with the lights.
I set certain lights to go red and certain lights to flash as you see here:
My issue is when there is an intruder my motion light automations trump the color changing and resets all the lights. The flashing seems to work. My goal is I want the house dark except those lights that I declared to be on.
So how are you all going about this?
