Im trying to understand the arming logic so i can set up my system to use this properly.
So Arm away;
If i put a contact sensor in both the 'must be closed' AND the auto-bypass;
- what happens during arming if its open?
- If it changes from open to close would that trigger an alert (or open-close-open)?
If its just in auto-bypass what happens if;
- it changes to closed?
- it changes to closed and then open?
Does the ' Configure Alerts for Arming Failures and Bypass Warnings (contacts open)' change any of the above (reading OLD post seems to indicate yes)
Use case im trying to work out is, i have internal doors with sensors on, these may be left open when going out i just want to double check that if i want them monitoring that they don't need to be in both lists, jus the bypass will surface.
Ideal case if someone could tell me how to set up.
As my arming/disarming is automatic what id like to do would be to arm away irrelevant of current contact state (push me a message telling me what's open, if its critical ill have to turn round and go home) and monitor the all the contact sensors for a state change,
eg some one broke in and pulled a door closed while sneaking around or for a window if they pulled it closed behind them (if it had been left open and the system armed). Do i put the device in both lists to get this to happen?
