I have started using some Multi-gang relays. I recognize that one 'branch' of the device is seperately a switch - how to iconisize this? How do I show the state of a multi-gang switch so that it reflects 1-2-3-4 etc ?
HE is unable to show sub-capabilities of a parent - its not that well thought out. What are / is anyone doing to reflect a device like this when there is no 'child' state?

Aren’t relays and switches essentially the same thing? Relays are a kind of switch, usually used to control some other electrical load.

I am also not fully understanding. For starters, which device and handler are you using? That may alter the available options.
Second, what tool are you using to visualize (i.e. Hubitat dashboard or such)?
Third, how are you hoping to visually represent their state? It sounds like you might be ok with them showing up as 4 distinct devices; is that correct?
