How to Rename a Button Controller?

On the old GUI, there was an item called "name this button controller" where you could over write the name. On the GUI, for the life of me I can't find where this is.

Are you using Button Controller 5.1 app? If so, begin by making sure your list of BC automations is expanded (underlined in crimson):

he_bc_expand
he_bc_expand1347×609 28.5 KB

Then, it just becomes a matter of clicking whichever BC child/instance you wish to rename, and then scrolling down a bit, where you'll see this field:

he_bc_rename

Type the new name and click DONE!

Thanks! Been looking for that and now feel dumb as it was hidden below as I just needed to do a scroll down.

Nice to see it's back- and still with the misspelled "Contoller". :grinning:
