How to remove inactive hub from Portal

Hi
How can I remove an inactive hub from portal.hubitat.com.

I decided to start using Hubitat this week 7 months after I initially set it up and now the hub says it is not connected to the cloud even though the router shows that it is connected to the Internet. I can get it to work in Local mode but whenever I try to register it with the portal. Hubitat.com it fails.

I have reached out to BobbyD at support@ for this issue and other iOS related issues.
I was hoping that one of you have seen the problem and can advise a fix

Just a thought, does your router show the same IP address for the hub as the portal?

Yes. My router sees the same address that I see when I do a local hub discovery. 192.168.1.12. However I canโ€™t get the portal.hubitat.com to accept the new IP so none of the cloud features and cloud dashboard work.

When I look at the logs when I access the hub at 192.168.1.12 , I see this error -
sys:12020-09-29 11:52:05.766 amerrorError at point 184a6a service.cloud.hubitat.com: Temporary failure in name resolution

Did you ever get this resolved and if so, how did you do it?

I seem to have a similar issue. If I show inactive hubs in the portal it shows me my single H5, but with an old IP address. I can get to it via the LAN at the current IP, but the portal doesn't ever seem to see it when scanning for hubs and I don't see a way to edit the registered hub to the correct IP.

Yes I managed to figure the issue.
My router was set to serve DHCP release from a certain range of IP addresses and Hubitat was not in that range. Once I moved the range to include the Hubitat local IP all started to work.

How would you do that if the hub is showing in an entirely different subnet?

There's got to be a way to either edit the hub listed or remove it and re-register the same hub as it's currently configured.
