How to really make your Z-Wave network mad...oops

For a how-to on crippling your Z-Wave network, look no further than this rule I wrote a year or so ago:

Oh, and 3/4 locks are S0 security. There was a bit of chaos in my house this morning.

Time to uh, tweak my rule. I love that I had the foresight to make the repeat stoppable, but never actually inserted a mechanism to stop it.


LOL, I have literally the same rule.
What's wrong with it?

When the battery runs out, will it never report closed and run forever?
If so, how do you plan to fix it?


I went with a combination of limiting the number of times and notification if failed:
