Yep, so does a roll back. Updates are also encrypted

Just to be clear, the process described by @Bullfrog will reset everything. However, it will not remove a hub's registration unless the previous owner (the eBay seller) already unregistered it before putting it up for auction.

In a message back to me, the prev owner never did register it, so I should be good to go.

I was able to register hub, reset Zigbee and Z-Wave, and successfully added devices. Thanks all.
