In rules machine, the following will produce text on echo show AND it says it
in webcore i get the following
You need to set your notification device in the Webcore settings.
And then use Send Push Notification to send it as a notification to your phone.
I don't use Rule Machine, I didn't know it had access to Echo Devices directly... is that the case, or are you using Echo Speaks?
I just use Echo Speaks from Webcore or apps to send voice announcements.
I have echo speak configured..... I see the option in webcore settings ...thx.... i assume you cant change per piston
it would be really nice if webcore did the notify the same way that rules machine so you could get text and voice
I think that RM is simply using the command "Play Announcement", since text and voice is what I get on my Echo when I use that command from Webcore.
If you share all your echo devices with Webcore, you can send multiple announcements to any of them in the same piston, or a different piston.
