How to delete cloud migration backup

I had a C7, was super happy with it ... Wanted to move to a C8

Converted my currency into a C8 which showed up promptly ... no issue

Now I find that from a platform that is supposed to be "local" in order to migrate my configuration to the new C8 I needed to hand over all my data vs being able to save a migration dataset locally - this should have been a red flag.

Now I have no way of deleting that backup from your "cloud" ... this is both concerning and disappointing.

I am looking for guidance on how to get this data deleted ... there should be no reason Hubitat needs this dataset.

Backups can currently only be deleted from the hub from which they were made. Bring up your old hub, go to Settings > Backup and Restore, select the cloud tab, and remove the migration backup. (They are aware this is an issue, and Support can also manually delete if you can't any longer.)

I appreciate the quick feedback.

Started the C7 back up, there is no Cloud tab under Backup and Restore ... There is only "Local Backups"

Having a cloud backup securely saved on a remote server for data recovery or system failure, is a good thing, and doesn't contradict our principle of local processing first. As a local platform we don't send events to the cloud in order to execute an automation. Events remain on your hub and automations execute locally, unless you decide to use any cloud integrations. With that being said, if you performed a cloud backup for migration purposes and no longer have access to the old hub, please send me the hub id (or email account) in a private message and I'd be more than happy to remove your cloud backup from our servers.

A cloud backup tab is only available for Hub Protect subscribers who can schedule cloud backups. The free migration process generates a one-time cloud backup that can be restored on a new C-8 hub.
