How do I know if a certain non listed Leviton Switch will work?

I have a garage with 252 Watts of LEDs on 3 way switches. The Leviton DD0SR-002-01Z will handle that wattage with the companion ‎ZW15S-1RW. They are not listed in Hubitat's Device list. Is there a way to tell if they will work before buying them? Thx.

Looking at it, the :

Is a pretty bog standard Z-wave plus 800 series switch. It should work just fine, but unless somebody here has used it, it's hard to say for sure.

Have you looked at Zooz? 252 watts is not very much, a little bit over 2 amps? I know there are limits on LED loads but that doesn't seem too high a load to me.

Yes I have been through the zooz line last night, The best I can find is 150W for LED. I guess the issue is the relay contacts. The heavier the contacts the higher the wattage. Those Leviton I think are good for 600w LED so I've got lots of tolerance. If I don't hear anyone tell me otherwise in the next couple days I'll probably pull the trigger and report back here with my research findings. LOL Being New to Hubitat would I just find them as the nearest Levition "generic" Driver? The Hubitat list shows 3 Leviton Zwave switches.

I would start with Generic Z-Wave Plus Switch (or dimmer, depending on what it is, or the CentralScene variants if it's supposed to support multitaps and you want those). Being a Z-Wave device, in the unlikely event it doesn't work with one of those, it should be pretty easy to figure out why with debug logging.

I can’t speak to the DD0SR-002-01Z, but the ZW15S-1RW works fine.

On research the DD0SR-002-01Z has to be companioned with the ‎ZW15S-1RW.

I'm not familiar with the Leviton offerings but the Inovelli switches and dimmers are rated at 300 watts for LED.

I use that switch. Works with the generic z-wave plus switch built in driver. DDOSR is only a remote which uses one of the travelers to signal the ZW15S. It does not participate in Z-Wave or use any driver.

I have the ZW15S installed with the DD0SR-DLZ as the remote controller(s).
Also, the ZW6HD with the DD00R-DLZ as the remote controller(s).

As far as I can tell, DD0SR-002-01Z is a really old 3-way controller having no relationship to Leviton's Z-Wave products.

Thank you. That helps me greatly.

Hi, found this string searching for Leviton solutions. I've been using C7 now for years working well with a mixture of Lutron, Leviton (old version Z-wave), Innovelli, Kasa and a bunch of other stuff. In my basement I have hung a lot of LED tube lights and they have been on a 3-way with an Inovelli switch. Yesterday I found I could not turn them off, and have a hunch I have welded contacts in the units relay; my load is about 4.1A at 120V. Its been running a long time. But that switch is no longer available and searching amazon I found a Zooz Zen71 800LR unit ; but not a high enough LED wattage rating. There are (and I bought) a LEviton WiFi D215S .I did not find a Z-wave Leviton for ? reasons I find it very hard to get clear specs on their products. I think I also saw somewhere some programmer people had figured out some ways to do their own interface to Leviton WiFi back in October 2024 but did not see what I needed to add in a package for that. Anyone here have some solutions or suggestions so I can use the D215S and it companion 3-way? Thanks very much. (No I have not totally torn apart the Innovelli to troubleshoot and possibly repair it yet).
