How do I a matter KS225 switch to a C-8

Hi - I have attempted to add a matter KS225 by matter connection to my C-8. I put in pairing mode under Apple Home and entered the generated matter code in Habitat and the C-8 is stuck in searching for the device. No issues with adding the KS225 to ST. Please advise.

That sounds like it should work. Have you added this device to any other Matter Fabrics (besides Apple's) yet? If not, an easy enough thing to try would be to remove it from Home, reset the device, and try this all again.

Another consideration: have you done something like this with any other Matter devices on your network? Or do you have any unusual network setups, like multiple vLANs or even multiple APs or similar? Matter requires mDNS to work, and something on your network might be preventing the communication the two systems need to share the device. Rebooting your router (or whatever your home network equipment is, possibly an all-in-one device from your ISP if you didn't set up anything yourself) also can't hurt.

Thanks for the email. Other matter devices outside of C-8 are working. I accessed the switch via the Tapo interface after it did not work via C-8 directly.
