I'm getting a few ZEN73LR toggle switches.
The Zooz switches have more capabilities than I've been used to, in a switch.
Features I'm thinking I'll use:
-Power off after an electric outage; would save on rules
-Auto off after a set time for some switches; does a switch have to be on more than X hours, or whatever. Would also save on rules.
-The 4-color light around the toggle is barely visible, but I'll use that
-The blinking of the light on parameter changes is useful, to me
-Using the toggle as a button controller, eg, disable an associated motion rule, open a driveway gate-can go up to 5 "buttons", but that's a lot of tapping
-I don't currently have any SmartBulbs, but there is a mode for that
I love zooz switches, I only have the decora. I use the LED colors for bathroom fan on (green)/off(red) at a glance cause once the water is on it's hard to hear, I also use the built in auto-off for turning the fans off. I use a smattering of scene control button presses for triggering other things. They are just so flexible. I have a zen30 in each room for the light and the ceiling fan, one room had outlets wired through the fan so I stopped using the relay and changed it into a "button" that controls a shelly relay up in the canopy so it works basically the same. I love how configurable the dimmers are. I set a default on level for each room, then you can set the "night light" level, the min and max. I love the double tap up for 100%. I have a couple zen32s for controlling lights and DC ceiling fans ( via Bond). They have great support and the prices are reasonable too. Nothing bad to say about Zooz.
@dstutz and @vitaliy_kh , I currently have the bathroom fans react to button pushes on a Jasco switch, two taps for 10 minutes, three taps for 15 minutes. I've tried in the past to use the single tap for 5 minutes, but as I recall, was unsuccessful. Maybe I'll try again, disabling the physical relay connection and do it all with button pushes, but then if there's a hub outage, no fan would be available. Will also use colors there, dim as they are with the toggle.
I only have one dimmer, (not crazy about them in general), and that's on a three way. Can't adjust dimming on satellite switch, but that's no big deal.
I don't use associations, but it was brought to my attention that associations are not available for devices paired as long range. So, that's something to think about when rolling out LR.
My Bathroom Fan is very nice and very quite Phillips Bathroom Fan with two user selectable speeds. Because it is ABSOLUTELY quite it runs non stop 24/7 at a low speed. Few rules are turning On high speed. The conditions for the high speed are:
Bathroom occupied for more than 5min, 10min delayed Off after bathroom is unoccupied;
Somebody is taking shower, Off when humidity returns back to the pre-shower level;
