Housekeeping question . What do you do with your device boxes?

My wife is on a cleaning purge, which is spreading. I have started cleaning out the close in my office that houses the equipment, but also all the empty device boxes. As I started working though it al ig got me to wondering, what do you do with the empty boxes? I still have pretty much all of them. Mostly Z-wave stuff, but I have taken a picture of the DSK codes and save them to my OneDrive. So should I hang on to the boxes? cut the codes off and toss the rest? Just toss them? I'm interested to hear what everyone does with the not so techy side of home automation.

I've never saved a box - all that packaging gets recycled as soon as I confirm the device isn't defective.

I too take pics of applicable QR codes and save those digitally.

I keep my boxes, and store them in sorted bins. I’ll use them to put the device back in when I update to a newer one. Added value… probably none…

I try to save the empty boxes for the warranty period (Calendar entry).
Then recycle them.

Info relevant for the device I send to myself in a Gmail.

I throw the boxes into my closet, keeping them at least until I know that the device is working. Several months later I will recycle them. I do not keep the DSK codes. Maybe I should.

I figure a backup of Jeff's SmartStart app would be good enough for the DSKs.
Reminds me though, I should make another one.
