The Thermostat is working manually, its just dead in Hubitat.
Now this may need to be mentioned: I have a raspberry pi running home assistant and hubitat has been enabled on the HA install and all of the devices are up and running in HA.
Honeywell T6 Pro Z-Wave Thermostat is giving me this error: Device 912 generates excessive hub load on line 281 (method parse)
Here is the full line from the logs: dev:9122026-12-30 03:55:44.786 PM
error
com.hubitat.app.exception.LimitExceededException: Device 912 generates excessive hub load on line 281 (method parse)
No I have not used the built in driver? forgive my ignorance but where is it? I see a bcopeland updated version of this driver.
I installed this in Jan '25 and it's been flawless until 12-29-25. At first it stopped coms with hubitat and my dashboards wouldn't control it, I was able to manually operate it. Then suddenly manual operations ceased on the same day and the Tstat was stuck in Cool Mode. So I just started poking around this morning, 1-1-26 and I found in the settings in the Preferences tab-Equipment Type had somehow changed to Oil or something? I set it to Air to Air Heat Pump at 8:34am and the unit switches on and starts heating.... However my dash boards are still not controlling the unit. The Logs are showing the updates and the same error. See attached logs and device info. TIA....
Use the Generic z-wave thermostat driver. That encompasses the t6 pro from @bcopeland. When you change it and click save, make sure you click Configure.
Go to device info, type, and hit the drop down and search T6. Under system (which is the built in drivers, as opposed to user which is drivers you installed) there should be a t6 driver.
This is better than the generic thermostat driver in that it lets you access some of the T6 specific functions.
