HomeKit Integration Mystery

Ladies and Gentlemen: I am always tinkering around, and today was tinkering around with the HomeKit Integration. Just for my own education I wanted to bring something in HomeKit into Hubitat. I selected a Lutron Plug-In dimmer that is in HomeKit. Yes, yes, I know, there are other ways to bring Lutron in, but this is just for the sake of trying things out.

I checked the dimmer in question and got this:

On my phone (iPhone obviously, running the very latest version of iOS), I found nothing like what is shown. I get as far as the circle-dot-dot-dot for Home Settings, but there is nothing called Home Hubs and Bridges.

Is the box in the screen shot out of date, or is there something I failed to do in HomeKit in the first place?

As ever, thanks in advance for any help or advice you folks can provide.

Did you add Hubitat to HomeKit in the first place? You won't see it listed as a Bridge, which the above screenshot and instructions are accurate for as of iOS 18.x and likely the last few versions, until you do.

Adding Hubitat is the same as adding any HomeKit device, or see: HomeKit Integration | Hubitat Documentation

I didn't nor did I see a means to do so. I have brought up that link in a separate tab and will give it a look when some of the chaos here dies down a bit. Thanks!

PS: Got it, and, thanks. Once I read the article it jogged my memory.

Just curious, but how does that relate to bringing something from HomeKit into Hubitat? Or did I misunderstand the original post.

Reverse it. Bringing Hubitat into HomeKit would be the better description.

Thought that was what you meant, but wondered if there was a reverse to it.
