How does the Homekit integration and Home app handle multiple Apple ID households? Does Homekit and Home app recognize Family Sharing? Can one Home be shared by multiple Apple IDs or does each Apple ID have to have separate Home setup?
Have not used Homekit integration yet. Just trying to evaluate pros and cons. Will it make things more complex or simpler for my wife?
One ID is the "owner" and then each additional person gets invited. It's like Family Sharing but separate.

And the owner can decide what the others can or cannot do. For example, control anything when they are away from home, add/delete devices, which camera recordings to view, etc.
