Homekit controller does it support LAN devices?

Previous to recent firmware on my C8P I saw LAN devices listed as avaiable for pairing in the homekit controller app, however I'm no longer seeing them? Has something changed? I have a garage door controller (Tailwind IQ3 V2.0) that has the option to connect via a POE "hat" rather than WiFi that should be able interface with homekit, but is not listed in the app.

Thanks in advance

If it can pair to homekit regardless of LAN or Wifi it will connect. It will start broadcasting once it gets it's ip from the ethernet cable.

That's what I assumed, however I used to see other LAN devices like my lutron bridge that are no longer listed either?

Is it paired with a different homekit network? If so you may not see it.

negative, not paired anywhere else. I'm wondering if something I did in my UniFi network settings borked the discovery?

plug it to the same vlan as the hub and see if it's discoverable

it's on the same vlan

These three are hardwired. (Not paired)

Yup that's what mine used to look like too, not sure what's up

@bobbyD

Do the available to pair devices show in Apple Home (Add Accessory, choose More Options...)? If not, you have some general network issues or your devices are paired somewhere else. If they do then there may be a network issue between the devices and Hubitat.

If the devices show in Apple Home the Hubitat app has an alternate troubleshooting set of steps under "Pairing Instructions - READ THIS".

Perhaps try restarting the integration under 'Advanced'.

Solved. Re-enabled the prompt for connected devices on the HE home page (the one that prompts you to add integrations for devices you have on network). After reboot the missing LAN devices showed up in the homekit controller app. Not sure why..

Tagging @gopher.ny to make sure that hiding these devices doesn't hide too much (or that it gets documented if intentional :slight_smile: ).
