Been looking for an android based larger TV to replace my breaking-down Sony TV. The Sony works great with Hubitat. I want a bigger TV and the Hisense ones are priced good for their sizes.
I'm wondering if there's any integrations available for just simple ON/OFF and volume control. Has anyone got one and figure it out?
Which model are you looking at? In a quick search of the forums, I'm not seeing any Android TV integrations that are straightforward. You might be able to use the Chromecast integration as that works with my Sony TV that has Google TV on it. For on/off, I actually have the Sony TV connected to HomeKit and use from Hubitat to control/track state. You could probably do something similar.
There is a Sony TV driver from the community that works really well. I actually prefer that to the Chromecast integration if you decide to get another Sony.

So no... there is no basic on/off yet... I know that it's being bantered around for 2.4.0.x in the chromecast integration, it's not there yet. My solution was to use a virtual switch with home kit to turn it off at night.
