Can someone please help me understand why am I getting my thermometer humidity stuck 99%. at first it was one device 'Third Reality model: 3RTHS24BZ' but now I have this issue on another devices 'eWeLink model: TH01' I have 5 zigbee thermometers and I honestly cannot have them go bad because I rely on them for my garden and my hydroponic system I don't understand why is this happening it was working before
What does the Last Activity show for these devices on the Devices page?
Is there a way to reset the humidity on these thermometers
I have been doing a lot of troubleshooting for a week now These are the troubleshooting that I had done so far
-Removed the device and pair it again
-Used different driver
'Tuya Temperature Humidity Illuminance LCD Display with a Clock'
-Change zigbee channel
-Reset it the zigbee network
-Change router channel to 1
I would think since the device is reporting the issue is not communication related.
I live in New England. My Aqara sensor reports 99.4 % RH. My local weather channel reports 94%. Are you sure your readings are wrong? Can you bring one of the sensors indoors and see if it changes? Perhaps put it in a container with some rice to force dry it.
Is it possible the sensors were subject to condensation on the humidity sensor? I've read some sensors don't respond well to condensation.
