Hello folks,
I’m trying to use a Ring Flood/Freeze sensor to trigger an on/off switch when water is detected. I was able to add the sensor to hubitat but ran into a few issues I’d like help with.
Disclaimer- I did search and found one thread that suggested using the generic water sensor but that did not solve my issue.
First issue. When I initially added the sensor it actually showed up with a name of Ring CO2 listener. I manually changed the name to be Ring flood and freeze sensor. I also had to manually choose the device type “Ring Flood Freeze sensor”.
Second issue. Even after selecting the correct device or choosing the Generic Water sensor, I still do not see a wet/dry status under this device.
Suggestions please on what I am doing incorrectly.
