I have a Gerneric Zigbee Motion sensor in my Gargage (Aeotec)
It is tracking tempature just fine, according to my log
But I can’t get it to turn off my garage lights. I have a bunch of smart plugs in the garage, with the Aeotec door break opens, and even though i have a rule set to turn off the light when the motion sensor does not see motion for 1 min the lights never go off. Does anyone have any idea why
First thing I'd check is whether the sensor reports motion active and inactive as expected. The "Current States" section of the device page should update in real time if you can keep it open while you walk in and then leave the room, but you can also look at the "Events" link towards the top of the device page for recent history. Keep in mind the sensor may take several minutes to report inactive, depending on your settings (it's configurable on this device, though not all).

Ok, This morning I brought up my device on the ipad in the hub and it said “inactive”, as soon as I opened the door, all the light went on and the motion sensor changed to “active”
The only problem, the switch from inactive to active did not show in the events page
The last time any “motion” show in the events page was June 6th,
What is going on?

It looks like you have descriptive loging on - do the motion active/inactive events show in the logs? Can you post a screenshot of the latest logs (and events)?
Weird...besides the above, what driver are you using? This is under "Type" on the device detail page. I'm also curious what you have for "event history size," but that should at least give you one event with the minimum value, and the most recent one at that...
Perhaps you are dealing with database corruption. You may want to back up your database, perform. a soft reset, and then restore it, as described here: How to Troubleshoot Apps or Devices - Hubitat Documentation (do not reset the radios, just the soft reset and restore as described).
