Yeah that’s what I figured about the local ip I guess I just need to put my head to work a lil harder to figure this out. I have to figure it out soon though my wife is threatening that she wants to go back to smartthings

What was it?
Hey Ryan ok follow me if you can. So in the cloud url address the device and the command are separated by forward slashes before ?access in the address, in the local url I deleted the forward slash after the device command before the ?access in the account and the command went through and I sent and received the command. So I’m a happy camper now I’ve changed over the kids devices to control everything only when they are on the local network so the wife is happy so that means I’m happy. Thx for all the help I needed that extra push to figure it out.
