My first post and I am completely lost trying to control Bali shades in groups.
I have added 3 shades and a Bali remote control. I can control the shades through the UI and am trying to control them together in a group (set to 85%, 50%, etc.).
After several hours of reading I saw a recommendation to use Room Lighting vs. Groups. I have created a Room called "70%" and another Room called "85%". I added a Bali remote and set button 1 to Activate 70% and Button 2 to Activate 85%. When I hit Activate in the UI, they work perfectly. However, when I hit the button on the remote they only work occasionally (not responsive).
Means to Activate LIghts, Activate when buttons are pressed: Bali Plus Remote 1: 1 pushed
Thinking maybe I need to "deactivate" the thing I set "Means to Turn Off Lights" to Turn Off when buttons are pressed: Bali Plus Remote 1: 1 released
The buttons simply will not work...at least maybe only 5% of the time.
At one point I hit the buttons many times and then received a traffic notification/warning.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a tutorial out there somewhere that talks more about shades? Really struggling. BTW I'm using the Generic Z-wave driver.
