I tried this yesterday, and got it to work by sending me a text, but that was then, and I cant seem to get this to work...
I had it set up way more complex than this, but have since dummed it down to see if I could get it to work, and so far I have not.
Can anyone shed any light on what I am doing wrong?
You can see its set in AWAY mode, and right now the door is closed (false). when I open the door and it turns to (true) I do not get the text nor does the light flash.
Could you at the Logs page, and/or the app events from the app status page, and see what the rule is logging?

You got it to send you a text before, but did you have flash light in the rule at the time that you tested it? Itās saying that your lights donāt support it the log. Are these lights connected directly to the hub, and if so when you look in the driver is there a flash button? If there isnāt then flash is not supported so you canāt use that. Youāll have to simulate flash with another rule that turns the lights off and then on with a periodic schedule in seconds when that rule becomes true and stop actions when that āflashā rule becomes false.
The light feature wasnt in there when I got it to work the first time. however it was removed and the second error i got popped up.
To see if they are related, try deleting the rule and recreating it with just the text messages. Ensuring that you number is entered as +1[area code][phonenumber] (e.g. +15556667777).
Keeping in mind that SMS is limited to 10 per day.
Using HSM, things are working for the notifications..
As for the "flash" feature, I was using a rule before to accomplish alarms, but now after enabling the HSM, the flash feature is still getting the same error
