Help with a rule

I made a rule that changes a bulb color when the laundry is finished. It is supposed to change to blue, which it does, and then when motion is detected in the laundry room, the bulb is supposed to change back to white. It does, but the color temperature is wrong. So I added change color temperature to the rule TWICE and the bulb still does not change to 2700K. When I go into the device and select ‘Set color temperature’ to 2700, the bulb changes correctly.

Here is the rule.

Remember I am old (I have been called ‘ elderly’) . I know enough to be dangerous but as age progresses, my ability to figure this stuff out gets worse.

To my eyes, the rule should work as-is. I would remove the two last lines though… unless there is a need for setting the color to white and then back to temperature 2700… (I assume that was just for testing purposes?)

Do I understand that the bulb remains blue? Can you share the brand and model of the bulb, in case that can be of use…?

Definitely take out the set white command.

I have had issues in the past with older bulbs sometimes having issues switching from RBG to CT mode. I have sent double commands but that shouldn't be necessary in most cases.

The bulb changes from blue to a dim white.

It is a LEDVANCE A19

Will do. There is a load in the dryer so I can test this.

Thank you.

Well, the light did not change to blue even though the log states it was commanded to change to blue.

If the light is not following instructions, then there could be a mesh issue. Do you know what protocol (Z-Wave, Zigbee, Wifi) those bulbs use?

I'm confused. Is the name of the bulb "1"?

If not, I don't see a target device for your "Set color" commands.

S

The bulb is “1”. I have 4 bulbs in the living room numbered 1 though 4

Nothing was changed other than removing two lines that set the color to white.

Oddly enough, the rule ran perfectly this morning.
