Help please


C7, platform: 2.3.6.146 - yes, I know it's old but works without problems.

This server error appeared first last night when I tried to use the Custom Device Note. Then just now I installed the Tuya Multi Sensor driver for my Lintech device.

Any tips on what I need to do to get things back to normal?

I suspect you will need to reboot the hub, possibly through the Diagnostic Tool. I would then be checking the logs to see if there is any indication of what may have happened.

If this doesn't fix it, you may have some DB corruption that needs fixing....

Aside from any platform fixes or improvements you are missing out on, one risk you run, at least with Community Drivers and Apps, is that they may start to reference parts of the platform you do not have. This could even be the problem in this case.... not sure....

Thanks. I have been toying with writing a long message for suggestions on if I can use one of my spare C7's and DL a recent UL (I have hub protect) and then upgrade the platform on the test C7. If all does not go well I just would run my older C7 and wipe the spare. If all goes well I would then have confidence in my spare C7 to run things. It's pretty common for advice from Hubitat that there is no need to upgrade unless you want something that is in the new release. I have a C8 which I just tinker with and it is up-to-date on platform releases. Thanks again for the advice. :+1:t2:
