I recently installed a Zooz Zen30 double switch to control a bedroom fan. I also have a Sonoff temp sensor in the room. What I am trying to accomplish is as follows: I would like the fan to start if the temp is 68 degrees or above and for the fan to shut off if the temp is 67 degrees or below. I would like this to be active only between sunset and 8:00am. At 8:00am the fan should be off regardless of the temperature until sunset. I have tried several different approaches in Rule Machine but I just can”t get it to work. Hopefully someone can help me.
Something like this should work for you. I haven't tried it, but the logic should get the job done.
Something to be aware of with this example: between 8 AM and Sunset it will turn the fan off, even if you manually turn it on. Changing that is a bit more complicated.
