HELP: Hub stuck at "Initializing Hub: 15%" after soft reset

I have been having some issues with my C-5 (latest firmware) where it has rebooted on its own 4 times in the last 24 hours. I was also having issues with some mysterious zigbee firmware upgrade (nothing requested by me). I figured I would download a backup and do a soft reset to see if that cleared up any errant process on the hub.

Well - it's now stuck at 15% for the last 10 minutes. I can get to port 8081, the light on the hub is "blue". What should I do next? I hope I did not kill my hub....

If you still haven’t advanced and can still get to 8081, you may want to do a reboot and then restore from the backup.

Rebooting got me this...

I have the menus on the side, but I cannot get to the "Settings" menu (Error 500). I can still get to the Diagnostic Tool on port 8081 but there is no restore feature there, right?

Might try the shutdown, followed by removing the power for a minute or so, and then power back up…

Did not work - same error message. Trying another soft reset now :crossed_fingers:t3:

Sounds like it’s being stubborn. @gopher.ny any suggestions?

Another soft reset seems to have done it. I was able to restore from the previous backup and the hub is back online. Hopefully, it got rid of any gremlins that were stuck in there.

@thebearmay - thanks for your help.

@gopher.ny - is there anything that I should be doing/watching out for after a reset/restore? Also, is there any way for you guys to track down why my hub was rebooting on its own?
