Help Getting ZSE50 Strobe To Work In Rule Machine

Hub Hardware Version: C-8
Hub Platform Version: 2.4.3.171

Hello everyone,

Can someone guide me on how to get the strobe on the Zooz ZSE50 to work in rule machine?

I can get it to work if use also active sound at the same time but cannot get it to light if I try to use the strobe by itself.

It also plays all the song files just fine.

I have tried the "Generic Z-Wave driver DT Sound Switch" initially recommended by Zooz (which has no Strobe options at all). I am now using the "Zooz ZSE50 Siren & Chime" driver.

I have tried excluding and including as well. No luck.

According to zooz, they are still working on a custom driver that will provide full access to the advanced settings, but until it's ready, the device will still work with the built in driver. You'll be able to change the tones but won't have access to the advanced settings until the device is integrated or the custom driver is complete. Sounds like LED control is ā€œadvanced settingsā€

I want the stobe to work to, asked the same thing a few months back when the driver was 1st released.

I get the idea itā€™s beta. Hopefully they will come out with something to fix this soon. The strobe works. Itā€™s just kind of weird you have to play music at the same time using the @bothā€ option.

Maybe I will see if I can set the volume to low and use a low tone. This way, it will have the appearance similar to what the Airlines do when theyā€™re turning on the seatbelt light lol :laughing:
