Help for a Hubitat newcomer regarding blinds zigbee module

Hello everyone,
I'm really new to Hubitat.
I have the C8 Hubitat model.
I am looking for a module for blinds.
Can someone help me choose a module that will surely work with the hubitat
Something that has been tested and known to work properly.
(it need to be supported by Google Assistant as well)
A link to some product would be nice.

I've seen all sorts of things from Toya on aliexpress , but from all my searches I came out confused and I didn't understand if there is a driver that fully supports it.

Is there anyone who can help with this?

I added the drawing of the wires here so that it is easy to understand that I have both N and L near the switch.

Any help will be appreciated!

If the motor is mains driven and is three wire (live up, live down, neutral) there are a few choices but unfortunately I'm only aware of Z Wave (rather than Zigbee) modules. My curtains were one of the first things I automated when I started out, adding motorised rails. As I could only find Z Wave modules suitable at the time, I stayed with Z Wave and used it throughout my system. Fibaro Roller Shutter 3 and Qubino Flush Shutter are two Z Wave modules that I can confirm work (Fibaro with a community driver and Qubino with the inbuilt driver)

I just had a look and Vesternet do their own Zigbee Motor Controller which they certify works with Hubitat. Vesternet Zigbee Motor Controller

thanks @johnwill1!
at the moment this is my best choice

i dont care of using z-wave device..

do u know of a device that could work with google assistance/home.. (zigbee or z-wave)
( i want to keep the option for a voice control)
do you know if the Vesternet support it ?
(Maybe I'm missing something here, but as far as I understand, for the voice commands I have to have the product support Google Assistant, right?)
(Sorry I didn't mention it in the original post (I'll edit it now) but I think it's also important to me)

and 2 more issues..

  1. its the price issue, it's kind of pricy.. ( i need 11 units)
  2. i have some switches which are 3 in the same socket.. and i didnt find any 2 way switches for Vesternet.. (The goal is both in terms of price and physically/volumetrically to reduce the number of devices)

I don't use Google but I think you can expose all of your Hubitat devices so that you can use voice control as you can for Alexa or Apple Homekit so it shouldn't be an issue.

Z Wave modules are usually more expensive than Zigbee but yeah that Vesternet Zigbee module is pricey. As I said I don't think there are many Zigbee motor/shutter modules available.

Each shutter module will only do one shutter/blind (you won't find a single module that does multiple motors) They have 2 switch inputs (up and down) to connect to 2 way centre off retractive switches (momentary) and two outputs to connect to the up and down motor wires. If you have more than switch position for a motor, they can be connected in parallel to the module switch inputs so that either can be used.

Your best bet is to download the manual for one of the modules and look at the wiring diagram.

Thanks for the detailed response.

i'm guessing i'll test some other products like:
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EzMQEZB

and if it wont work..
i'll go with vesternet.

To be honest, I thought someone had already tried and tested something like this. ("chip" tuya module from aliexpress) And maybe he can give an opinion from his experience.

Thanks!!!

Based on your picture, it looks like you could just use a relay? Perhaps a shelley module?

how can i connect shelly to hubitat ? (by wifi?)

(as far as i know sheely doesnt have zigbee\z-wave products)
(sorry for being a noob...)

thanks,

Correct. Shelley is 100% natively supported by hubitat and 100% local. Install a virtual device with the shelley driver, name it what ever you want. Save. Now in the device page put in the ip of the shelley device, click save. Boom connected.

Amazing.
I will try it tomorrow. I happen to have a shelly 2.5 module in handy.
But don't I need a static IP for it to work regularly and reliably?

Thanks!

And about the shelly driver..

Is it a built-in driver or should i search for it?

its built in, and yes, reserve an ip for it in your dhcp table
