He who dies with the most Hubitat hubs wins?

Ok, I’m confident I don’t have the most hubs here, but after buying a 5th hub (2nd C8 Pro), I’ll have 5 hubs in my collection (2x C7, 1x C8, 2x C8 Pro’s).

Only 2 of them are in production use tho, one drives my radios and 90% of automation, and the other runs most of my LAN and Cloud integrations including my Solar and Battery system.

How many hubs do you lads have?

Why don't you sell at least 2 of the unused ones?

TBH, there doesn’t seem to be much of a used market for them - I might give one of my spare C7’s to a mate tho.

Doubt I am the winner but I have 11:
C3, 3 C4s, 2 C5s, 3 C7s, and 2 C8 Pros

I used to break out my hubs by protocol requiring a 4 production hub setup. But once the C8P came out I consolidated 4 to 2 and use one of the C7s as my development hub. So only 3 in production. This doesn’t include HA, Lutron etc that are also in production.

Nice! I occasionally use one of my spare hubs for dev work too.

I used to run a bunch of Pi’s for docker containers etc, now I just run them all on my DS1921+ along with a couple of VM’s. It makes for much simpler management.

11 seems to be the number.
Easter sale, eh.
Cot a couple of C4's that could be unloaded.
But they run weeks between required memory reboots.
Not sure.

I have 2 Hubitats.

A C-8 Pro that hosts all devices (zigbee, Zwave, matter, network, cloud, etc) and handles only basic and critical functions like controlling lights and the users/codes for my locks.

A C-5 that does all the automations. I have lots of automations so the C-5 is generally working much harder than the C-8 Pro.

Additionally I have a Home Assistant hub running on a 4GB Pi5. This handles all dashboards, device stats and trends, and provides the primary interface thru which most everybody in the house interacts with smart devices or climate/lighting. This also hosts my ESP Home devices for local voice control, and also any other devices/integrations which Hubitat can't host directly.

I feel kinda poor and left behind..:). I only have 2. C8 does pretty much everything. C5 only to give me a second instance of Homekit integration. Wish I could get rid of that one and have 2 instances on the C8... hint, hint.

1 HE C8Pro - primary for Zwave, Zigbee, Matter, most automation (mesh)
1 HE C7 - primary for all things cloudy, Matter, some helping automation for the C8Pro (mesh)

1 HE C7 - for development
1 HE C7 - running 'old' firmware for development
1 HE C8 - somehow ended up with this and is on the shelf. Back up for primary HE hubs.

1 HA rPi5 - primary HA hub
1 HA rPi4 - secondary HA hub for development

1 rPi3 - helper hub for HE, for things like echo speaks

1 SmartThingsv2 - in the closet next to the C8
1 SmartThingsv3 - in the closet on top of the SmartThingsv2

Yea, probably need to take out the trash.

Yes, the C4 is amazing, weeks between reboots. It runs my flood prevention routines and older Z-wave devices

Uh oh, I think I'm winning - even dozen here.

3 C-8Pros in production, with 4 C-5s and 5 C-7s in a bin in the basement.

In my (partial) defense, we were rebuilding our new house a couple of years ago, so I was running full systems in two houses at the same time.

There was a firmware change in there, that suddenly allowed my C4's to run much much longer.
I wish that I could point out that point, that it might carry over to the other "C's"

Only count as "supporting Hubitat, the company".
With the assumption that they are in a bin, unused.
Thank you for your support of a company, that is worth every bit of support.
