Just recently my V3 iris motion sensors no longer show up in my dashbords. The automation is still fine, but the dashboard shows unknown device
Which version of the hub firmware are you running?
c-8 2.4.0.146 now
If you check under the “preferences” sub-menu of the device’s settings page, try setting the “default current state” to motion.
Which dashboard app are these dashboards made with?

Just a standard dashboard. and the motion option does not allow the device to be seen in the dashboard creation section
Quick check of mine is they are dispalying/reporting OK...one example below. I"m on 2.4.0.146.
Just created a new dashboard w/several of my Iris v3s in it, no issues:
They were accurately picked up by the dashboard:
So my existing dashboard tiles are fine on both original and the new Easy dashboard, and also are OK on a new dashboard.
Have you checked your Device pages to confirm they are still using the correct Generic Zigbee Motion driver?
Looks like there is no device selected for both those tiles (the ones with the Unknown).
Yes because the iris v3 motion sensor is no longer visable in the dashboard device pull down list. It worked with both my c5 and c8 systems till a few weeks ago
Can you still see it in the hub’s list of paired devices in the admin UI? And browse to the device’s settings page?
You mean the automations involving your iris gen 3 motion sensors?

To confirm the issue is definitely with the dashboard, it’s always helpful to confirm a device is paired and you can see/control it from its dedicated settings page in the hub UI.

Im trying to be helpful here. when i walk in front of it. it shmows active.
When i grab it and put it in my pocket the temp changes.

The v3 does Humidity, Motion, and Temp, but below you show it set up w/the "Generic Zigbee Motion Sensor (no temp)" driver. Did you do that intentionally?
You should normally choose below for the Iris V3 driver:
I'd suggest you change the driver of your Iris V3s to the one I show in my screenshot above.
Also, you haven't shown a screen shot of the device settings in your dashboard, to show the template picker side of the device config dialog...Provide a screen shot that shows which templates are available on the right "Pick a template" column when you choose your V3 outlet in the "Pick a device" column:
Should look something like this:
Go to the Dashboard app, and make sure that the device is authorized for that Dashboard.
My other v3 sensors are set up the same, yet are working. And again automation is fine, its just the device is no longer seen in the dashboard pull down. and also as you can see in previous posts the temp component seems to be working.
