Hampton Bay LED Flush Mount Light Dimmable Amazon Alexa Compatible 2700K-5000K

New user here, I have a Hampton Bay 12" flush mount kitchen light I had on Wink, installed fine on Hubitat but goes as a generic RGBW light. It is actually more of a "tunable White" and wondered if there is a better choice "generic" bulb to set it to? Adjusting using the RGBW matrix seems like overkill for just temperatures of white. I hope that makes sense. Thanks!

Try changing the driver to "Generic Zigbee CT bulb (dev)". That will only permit adjustment of color temperature.

P.S. Welcome to Hubitat! I came here from Wink as well.

30 year Med Tech?!?! I worked in Blood Bank and Chemistry before moving over to industry. I've worked for 1 coag device manufacturer and 2 chemistry/heme device manufacturers!!

Leaving the device on the RGBW device won't hurt anything and will most likely still work fine. It just won't accept the RGB commands, on the CT ones. I've been debating about buying this device for a LONG time. Let me know what you think about it. Does it dim down very dimly? I need a new light in a place where I want it go dimmer than my Sengled bulbs do as they are very bright when fully dimmed.

Yeah, started as Chem. Supervisor, Lab Director for 5 years before going to Information Systems for 5 years. trying to post 4 photos of light at both ends of intensity and color.

That's what I do now. Work in informatics.

How dim does the light go though? at the lowest setting is it relative dim or pretty bright? Would you classify it as appropriate as a nightlight?

Ah, not really what I'd consider a night light but if you had to get up to raid the fridge you wouldn't wake everyone in the house.
