So, ive been searching for one of these. Seems as home depot does carry them anymore

Any suggestions because rewiring isnt an option for me.

This isn't a Hampton bay fan controller but uses that fan driver. This can be used with any fan (provided it fits in the canopy). They fit easy into our fans on the porch. Cost me $36.00. There is also an optional remote available for $25.00 (that's what the dip switches are for but the remote isn't needed for operation, it's simply a spiff if you want it.).
