For those using HomeAssistant to provide dashboard eye candy for Hubitat there is an imminent new UX feature code named ‘Grace’ supporting ‘sections ‘within a dashboard. Useful alongside the two HomeAssistant integrations.
This augments the standard dashboard layouts within HA supporting new ways that the device tiles populate/order the dash…. and also implements the long requested ‘drag and drop’ that offers alternatives to ‘masonry’ layouts which don’t resize well on different screens. It’s available in the 2024.3 beta now and included in the general 2024.3 release on Weds.
This UX focus for HA will be an evolving project of improvements going forward over the next months known as Grace, an acknowledgement to the historic work of Grace Hopper and should be really useful for those leveraging HA for UX with HE. I’m going to give this a try
