Dear community,
I am on a C7 hub and updated from 2.3.5 which was very stable and fast, to the latest 2.3.8.140 version, since i started having issues after updating Home Assistant from a stable integration experience with Hubitat on HA 2024.4.4 to 2024.5.1.
In first instance it looked it only affected all my Philips Hue devices that were integrated in Hubitat via the CocoHue integration. I noticed that under this integration, switching a light on and off on the device page in Hubitat was possible, but the status would not update, so i installed the Advanced Hue Bridge Integration on my Hubitat and that seemed to be the solution, but exactly the same thing occurs. After a restart of Home Assistant, all works fine, but after a short while there are no status updates from Hubitat to Home Assistant. Under this integration the status of a device on the device page in Hubitat does change accordingly, when a light turns off however. I do not know what to do. I really hope someone has the solution…. !!!
Yes, i am on 9.28 of the integration and HA 2024.5.1 Something broke and i can’t find what it is. I can for example turn on a light in HA, but the status doesn’t update, it shows that all light are of and i cannot turn anything off from HA. So weird.
I am running a beta version of HE platform 2.3.9, HA 2024.5.1, HE Plugin 0.9.28
I just have HA setup linked to my dev hub for playing around, and I am able to turn lights on and off from HE no problem. Status updates in HA as usual.
Hi Jeff, Thanks a bundle for your reply. I really appreciate it! Happy to hear, that 2.3.9 is running as should with HA. Don’t know what is wrong with my setup now.
Things work perfectly fine after restarting HA. Then issues start after about 30 minutes and i need to restart HA again. Gues i’ll have to wait for the release of 2.3.9 and keep my fingers crossed.
I very much doubt that 2.3.9 will fix it for you. It only uses Maker API on the HE side and that is not something they really change. My point was that the integration itself is not broken.
Hello Robert, Thanks for your suggestion. I can’t really find anything. Yesterday it looked like all was good again, as there were no issues for about 6 hours and then suddenly around 11 pm, i noticed that the HA dashboard did not represent the actual state of the HE devices and automation weren’t working anymore. And of course after a restart, all was up again…. for a short while.
