Groups app created devices appearing as Alexa dimmers

I've just started using the Groups app. It is all working OK but I've noticed that the virtual devices it creates are listed as Alexa dimmers and the names have Alexa_ as a prefix to my chosen name. Is this normal? I don't have Alexa.

Bruce posted about this earlier, calling them Alexa dimmers is just an artifact of its development history.

Created Group paired with "Alexa Dimmer" & Significance of Group DH

Alexa Dimmer is simply a virtual dimmer, and would be the means by which Echo could control the group. It's name is simply an artifact of its development history. The virtual dimmer can be used in any context that any other dimmer can be used, and it is not tied in any way to Echo. So don't let the name of the device type cause you any concern.

If you update to 1.1.2.121, these devices are now called "Group Bulb Dimmer". Existing groups (which do not support color bulbs) will still have a device called "Alexa Dimmer". The name of the driver was changed to avoid this confusion.
