Hello, I purchased a new c8 hub because I thought that I would be able to control my graywind zigbee shades while using the benefit of using voice control with my Alexa…..

I currently have all my other smart shades controlled by voice just using Alexa and have no issues but I like the idea of setting up dashboards and automations with the new C8

Here is the problem:on the dashboard the icon for the shade is fully functional but under the device tab the shade appears but indicates that it is not supported. The other issue is that when I attempt to link the shade to the alexa using the Hubitat Alexa app and the Alexa skill; the shade does not appear so I can not control it via a voice routine.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated otherwise I am considering returning the device.
The shade is supported just not in ez-dash. If you put it into classic dash it will work fine. Is it using a built in driver or custom driver?

I am still learning about this c8 but I used the yolax driver that was built in….it gave me the controls and it does function but I can not get the shade to show up on Alexa now….keep in mind all my other shades are on the Alexa hub and this door shade I set up on my c8 as the 1st to see if it will work on the c8 and still have the voice control…if I can get the Alexa to recognize it….then I will be happy with the c8
If you open the integration itself on hubitat, do you see the shade?
Yes, and I checked it off along with the door sensor, the door sensor shows up but not the shade
I meant to say that only the door sensor shows up in Alexa even though both the shade and the door sensor are checked in the integration app
is the name of the shade similar to something else on alexa?
There is only one door shade…the others already in Alexa are named blinds and I have not transferred the to the c8 Yet….i wanted to see how this door shade works before I do that
