Hello,
I’ve just started my adventure with smart home. I watched some YT videos and a lot of people recommends Gosund light switches since they are pretty cheap and well build. I pulled the trigger and bought and installed quite a lot of them and they indeed work pretty good, I got them integrated with Google Home. I just got delivered Hubitat today and I was pretty sure I’m gonna be able to integrate it easily with my switches since they are google home, alexa and apple compatible. I was going to build some automations and stuff. From what I just learned it doesn’t seem to be the case. Is there in fact no way to integrate Gosund devices with Hubitat?
If they can be flashed with Tasmota, then they can be directly controlled by Hubitat. This would provide local control of these switches, and be most reliable.
There are also indirect ways of getting Hubitat to control them (for example, via Alexa, or by using Homebridge), but the tasmota approach would be simplest.
So I flashed my Gosund SW1 with Tasmota 9.3.1. Everything looks good, it works with Hubitat perfectly fine. The only problem I have is the LED. I'd like to have green indicator turned on once the switch is ON and red once it's OFF (or the other way around). I've tried different combinations in the template but I was able to make only the red indicator LED working and showing the status or only the green one. Is there any way to make them coexist?
Here is my current template:
{"NAME":"Gosund SW1","GPIO":[160,0,320,1,0,0,0,0,0,0,224,0,321,0],"FLAG":0,"BASE":18}
