Can the Nest smart speaker be used for TTS with the Chromecast integration app?

Yes. I even have an extra one in Sage I'm selling on the cheap if you want another one.

Thanks, just planning a project and wanted to confirm my options. Probably would go with black though.

I also have some vizio 360 craves with chromecast as well and a nice black LG unit (they aren't smart speakers but they do tts)

The only disadvantage is if you're streaming something, like music, it pauses the stream and you have to manually restart.
