I have been having some issues with the google home integration, so I removed Hubitat from Google home, and when I tried to reauthorize it, I got an error. When I opened Hubitat the Google home is no longer there. I rebooted the hub and still No Google Home App.
Did I miss something? Does Hubitat still have Google Home integration?
Try telling Google assistant to "sync devices" then re-add Hubitat to Google Home. Synce devices forces Google assistant to update the integration states.
Yes, as far as I know it's still a feature.
The Google Home App, on Hubitat, is automatically installed when you add/authorize the Hubitat integration within the Google App on your phone.
Do you have a DHCP Reservation set up on your home router to make sure the Hubitat Elevation hub's IP address does not change? It is a good idea to do this to make sure the Hubitat Cloud server does not get confused by a changing IP address. If the Hub's registration data at cloud.hubitat.com is not correct, then cloud integrations like Alexa or Google Home will not work.
Yes I have a reserved address for Hubitat
Update
Not sure what happened , but I just reauthorized Hubitat on Google home, and everything seems to be working
Glad to hear it sorted itself out for you!
I've found that it often takes several minutes for Google assistant to register changes in it's integrations. That's why I suggested the "sync my devices" command.
Anybody have issue authorizing Hubitat with Google home recently? Keeps failing on my S10plus when I click on authorize. Says failed to connect
