Hubitat's cloud setup seems to be a bit unreliable. I try to have Google control my device and when it doesn't work, I go into the Home app and try to reauthorize my account, but it cannot connect with Hubitat's cloud. I then go into the Hubitat and it says cloud service is unavailable. This happens a lot.
What platform are you on?
C-5. But that is why I go into the Google Home app and do a recheck. It couldn't communicate either.
I'm also running a C-5 on 2.3.9.197 and my cloud connection is rock solid. There were a few firmware versions after .184 that added some instability but that seems to be fixed, at least on my particular setup.
I meant software platform.
Yeah I am still showing as offline for my devices in Google Home. I tried reconnecting Google with Hubitat and I get the following after selecting the hub/location.
What platform version are you running on your C5, i.e. 2.3.9.197 (is current).
Reboot your hub and then check for updates, update to current.
You must reboot first, the update check will not work if the cloud connection is down. It will just keep saying no update available.
A bunch of the 2.3.9 builds had cloud connection issues but it has been resolved for 99% of people now.
Rebooting the hub and updating from .192/.193 (can't remember which one) to .197 resolved it.
