I've been using Chromecast integration to have Hubitat talking in the house. It's working pretty well, but there is something that is killing my wife: it stops the music and does not start it back. Worse, if we say "Google play the last song" or "Google resume music" it does not work.
Is there a way to make TTS without having a bad musical experience?
You can't do it with chromecast as it just replaces the current stream you are listening to.
If you are willing to set up Google assistant relay on a rPI (or other always on device) this can broadcast without interrupting what is already playing but the trade off is that only will do this on all speakers you have.
