New to Hubitat. From smartthings Just started setting this up on monday.
Everything i have seems to work so far except this device comes up a generic device: GoControl Z-Wave Plug-in Dimmer Module - PD300Z-2
Any idea what i should set it as?
I don’t have one of those, but I’d try the “Generic Z-Wave Dimmer” or “Generic Z-Wave Smart Dimmer”
After changing the driver, be sure to click the “Configure” button to properly set up the device.

I did that but the configure button doesnt ever seem like it does anything. Am i suppose to get a dialog or something or does it do its thing in the background?
It does its magic in the background.
Can you control the device using either of those drivers?
Have you been able to work this out?
I too have one of these modules and while it does 'work' under the generic z-wave def... and updates to what I believe is correct if I enter the "set level and hit "configure". Refresh seems to do nothing, and hitting the 'set level' button which I'd imagine would do that seems to also do nothing.
Went to check variables as I used to in Vera-Hell, but can't find where I'd set or check the parameters? Specifically I'd like to check/configure this:
Load Sense:
• Parameter No 29
• Length: 1 Byte
• Valid Values = 0 or 1 (default 1)
Set this parameter to 0 to disable load sense. Set this parameter to 1 to enable
load sense.
Nice little unit, it'd be a shame not to be able to use it....
I never tried to work it out. After I posted this a few days later the light I was going to put it on got replaced and it wasn’t needed anymore and I have not repurposed the dimmer yet.
I have five of these unite and haven’t added any yet so I’d be interested if people have got these to work. Thanks.

I need to be able to set the minimum dimming level on this device. When I called GoControl turns out they know less about it than I do. Can't find any listing of parameters for this unit, so I can't do it that way.
Wonder if there's a feature within HE that can limit the device minimum dimming level?
Just got the PD300Z-2 working. I went through the exclusion process twice, first time I did a single click, second time I did a double click. Once that was complete, unplugged it for a minute. Plugged it back in and held down the button for 5 seconds. Once that was done, I began the Inclusion process with a single click on the device. Set it up as a Generic Zwave Dimmer and it's working perfectly as a dimmer/switch. Hope this helps!
