GLEDOPTO Zigbee Triac AC Dimmer

I have a GLEDOPTO Zigbee Triac AC Dimmer that I have working with the Advanced Zigbee RGBW Bulb. It's the only Zigbee driver that seems to work with the module. The problem is if you locally control it via the attached push button it doesn't update the state in hubitat. Is ther a way to get this to work?

What happens when you use the generic zigbee dimmer driver?

I just changed it to that and it works. But I am finding a couple of other problems. The local control stops working while control via hubitat still works. I can get i back by going to the device an clicking on configure. I started going to Zigbee because I think esp8266 devices are going by the wayside.
But I love them and Tasmota. I hope that Matter will have as many features as Tasmota.

Whatโ€™s the model # of this gledopto device?

It's a GL-SD-001

Here is why I went with a Triac ac dimmer. I have a several large loads (+400w). And all the dimmers were x10. Well the x10 stuff is in a box and probably going to the dump. These loads need conversion to something Zigbee, Zwave, WiFi, Matter, etc. The other problem is the entire house has Ivory devices and plates. So i can rig a mini dimmer with a push button in the box and my problem is solved. Or I go with Inovelli (Ivory) (Matter) at 60 bucks per device. It will be nice if we only had to deal with one technology

I still have to do some experimenting with the mini dimmers but for now they look like they are 2 unreliable to work for me.

Try the Tuya driver.

GL-SD-001 is a very good device IMO.

You might look at Zooz, they have almond, but I am not sure how those compare to ivory.

I looked at the Zooz stuff and I like the fact that you don't need a companion device. And I can deal with Almond color paddle.
They say that there products will not work with magnetic transformers. So I am back to the drawing board. Thanks
PS

I did get a different GLEDOPTO a GL-SD-301P that works much better with the local button then the GL-SD-001. So I am gona install it on a 4 fixture circuit and see how it works.

Have you noticed an issue with updates? When I use local control, the state is not pushed the hubitat. I have to issue a refresh to see the updated state.
