Geofencing is not working right. I left this morning for a while. I came home over two hours ago. My phone says I am in the geofence area, but the hub is still showing me as away. Thankfully, my wife's phone is still present or it would have set the alarm to away and triggered it when she got up or when I got home.
This is unacceptable. Geofencing is something that needs to work properly. I have a separate issue that my Iris V2 Smart Fob which I was using for presence started showing away while we are still home. This used to work without issue. I don't know if something in the platform updates has caused this. I rely on presence detection to change modes from home to away which also triggers disarming and arming of the HSM alarm. Why is this not working? It is definitely not making me feel good about the move from the C7 to the C8 Pro. I don't know if it would be working any better on the C7 though. I don't know whether it is a hardware or a firmware or a software issue.
