Geofence (not) changing Modes after changing which hub my app is connected to

I have three Hubitats.
I'm using Hubitat1 for Mode Manager.

I am not 100% sure if this is correct, but it looks like the geofence mode change will work if the last Hubitat I was connected with in the app is Hubitat1. If I connect to Hubitat2 or Hubitat3 and then close the app, nothing happens when I leave/enter geofence.

(I hope the description is clear)

Has anybody else noticed this?
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

(Samsung Galaxy S23, Android 16, Latest Android Hubitat App)

That is correct and expected behaviour. What are you needing to connect to your other HE hubs for in the App?

Thank you. Knowing this gives me some peace of mind.

I connect to other hubs to tweak Rules, check logs etc. I will make sure to connect to the first before closing the app.

I have struggled with this problem for a year now! It took me forever to notice why this is happening. I've done a lot of searches on this topic here, but never found this.

I have a similar problem with Geofencing. When my wife and I are away and come home, her phone will not reliably report as home. If I don't catch it and leave, HSM will start arming away. Occasionally, mine will not change mode to home also. I currently just have the C8 Pro set up. Our phones are Motorola One 5G Ace (mine) and Moto G Stylus 2025 (wife's). Unfortunately, my Iris V2 Smart Fobs stopped functioning, so I no longer have those for detecting departure/arrival so unreliable Geofencing is not a good thing.

I noticed when looking at the Events that the Departure/Arrival is produced by "Mobile App Manager." I do not see said manager in the list of apps so I am wondering if there is an issue with the app. Any hints as to how to figure out Geofencing to make it more reliable?

But you can't do any of those directly in the app. I'm guessing you are switching to the other hub to use the "Connect to hub" feature - but that just opens the hub's web page.

Instead, just directly open the hub's web page in your phone's browser. It will work exactly the same and you won't have to switch which hub the app is connected to. As a bonus, you can have browser tabs for all your hubs open at the same time.

You're absolutely correct. I will do it this way now that I know what was breaking my presence all the time.
